米兰档案馆之旅,展示意大利百年社会经济变迁

由OMA合伙人Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli策展的“视角 – Fondazione Fiera Milano档案馆之旅”在米兰三年展中揭开帷幕,展览通过视觉化的叙事手段,向人们讲述了一个世纪中意大利社会和经济的变迁。

The Exhibition of Prospettiva – Journey Through The Archives Of Fondazione Fiera Milano is curated by Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli, a partner of OMA. It was launched at the Triennale di Milano, using visual narrative to explore the history of Italy’s societyeconomy in the last century.

The archives of Fondazione Fiera Milano are a treasure trove of genericauthorial images, intimategrandiose photos of sophisticated design projects, industrial machinery, foods, pistons, architecture, livestock, well-known personalities,ordinary people. But it also includes films, posters, drawings, maps, infographics, catalogs, guidesmuch more, documenting what was, to all intentspurposes, “a non-stop factory of wonders”, not merely a place to foster business relations.

由于藏品数量庞大且种类极其丰富,这里不断经历着分类和重新整合。现在,档案馆全面数字化,藏品的呈现方式也有了无尽的可能。本次展览将带人们游览这座档案馆,展示它如何作为一种工具,重新发掘和定义当下的生活。

This enormousextremely diverse collection lends itself to infinite categorizationrecombination, just as the ways by which an archive can be curated are infinite, especially now, as the archives undergo full digitization. This exhibition is a journey through the Fondazione Archives,it reflects on the notion of an archive itself as a tool to rediscovercontextualize the present.

展品展示了意大利以及国际贸易近100年的历史。无论是在经济腾飞期还是在备受争议的阶段,Fiera一直是国家经济,政治,社会和文化生活的主要舞台。这些历史事件的载体采用的都是当时的技术和形式,与其所承载的内容一起,记录了时光的流逝。

The materials on exhibit bear witness to almost 100 years of Italianinternational business history,Fiera’s role as the prime stage for the country’s economic, political, socialcultural life, through times of great leap forwardmore controversial phases. The same materials are also an expression of the technologiesformats used to archive them, which in themselves measure the passage of time, just like the events they document.

展厅内,故事、形式和经验以非线性的方式拼贴在一起,令人沉浸其中。游客仿佛成为了案卷保管员,可以接触到最原始的材料,快速浏览几十年的历史对话和影像记录。展览精选了一些历史上的知名事件,人物以及复兴历程。Fiera作为历史上面向世界的开放门户,亦预测了当今时代所面临的挑战。

In these halls, visitors weave their way through a non-linear collage of stories, formatsexperiences. The viewer becomes the archivist, accessinghandling original materials, rapidly scrolling through decades of historic communicationphotographic records – a selection of salient events, personal accountsreconstructions in which Fiera served as an open door onto the rest of the worldanticipated the challenges of our times.
